ALL OVER AGAIN
(an acrostic poem)
A
rekindling of hearts and soul sparked when your laughter penetrated my
being
Leaving
a taste of sweetness from which I had long been trying to estrange
Lifetimes
of memories inundate in an instant
Operating
for so long now in realms of quixotic fantasy
Vestiges
of a deep connection remained only in snippets of cursory conversation,
until...
Emanations
from your Spirit, Rhythm and Words are a tangible embodiment once more
Reminiscent of that first time our ancient souls kissed
After
not seeing your face for so long now, it felt strange, and I am unable to
contain
Gamogenetic
inclinations that have played over and over and over in my brain
And
yet, my body defied what my mind was trying to hide from your eyes
I
find myself unawaredly melting into the mirror of your hypnotic gaze
No
words can adequately describe what you do to me… I feel like I’m falling All
Over Again

I just love a good acrostic poem. I love to read them, and write them, as well... Now I think about it, the last poem I posted was an acrostic, but it was not nearly as nice as yours. Yours is full of hope while mine dwelt on despair... I like your world's vision better.
ReplyDeleteHi Michael. First of all... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU today!
DeleteI would like you to send me a link to your accrostic poem, as I do love a good accrostic, as you well know.
Thank you for your lovely comment here today. I am eternally grateful.
