SOMEDAY WE WILL

A shunted soul, fractured into two
injuncted by a
higher hand
at the time of
creation
Chosen for a
mission taken on only by very few
a dispensation that
leaves us wondering
why life’s trials
can be so unfair
Standing at a
moment of truth in ones life
knowing that what
was behind me
does not
necessarily tell me what lies ahead
Unable to see
beyond life’s curve balls
the prize in the
distance
seems like a
cryptic chimera
With gentle
whispers from spirit guides who remind us
that we must keep
those visions alive in our minds eye
...even when the
path seems insurmountable
We need to trust
that the journey will take us where we need to be
because we just
don’t know
what is waiting
around the next corner
We have always felt
in the depth of our being
that clandestine
destinies will once again converge
and that the two
souls will one day meet again
