CUMULUS ILLUMINATIONS
Ancient rains,
conceived from
hellish fires and violent storms
culminations
of landscapes newly born
locked in a
cycle that has witnessed all of life’s transgressions
breaking
droughts so that dessert flowers bloom once more
to torrential
downpours that wash away the stench of blood and war
…and catching
out unsuspecting lovers kissing in a lightning storm
Lest they know
that uttered words become
energetically
infused within crystal prisms
each drop
responsive and alive
encapsulating
both sunlight and intention
A culmination
of elucidation
They carry the
secrets of the most inconspicuous flower
in each and
every rain shower
Liquid
evanescence ascending back to the clouds
where they get
carried by well traversed trade winds
to once again
descend
on lonely corn
fields
deadly killing
fields
running down
mountains and into streams
(of
consciousness)
Immortal
thought forms circumnavigate the globe
somehow become
inexplicably infused with mine
which is why
when I whisper
words of love and hope
they
dissipate, and float
to where they
are needed most
to completely
drown out hate
