TWO BODIES
COLLIDE
Two
Bodies collide
as merging
liquescence
comes up
up against
much
resistance
an undercurrent of predestination guides
to unleash
pulsating eddies and tides
trapped perturbations
are
slowly melted by the warmth of your care
The
ensuing glacial thaw releasing frigid
remnants
of long trapped heavy debris
to
create magnetic oceans
from which we can no longer deny or flee
from which we can no longer deny or flee
But
strong conflicting emotions
are repelled by the strength of resistance
too
scared to allow the deeper remnants to flow
and
be released
we fight to embody the inevitability
that our deepest consternation's
that our deepest consternation's
will eventually merge
that
place where mixed tribulations
are
free to effuse effortlessly into one body
Whether
we like it or not
We
both need those bursts of antagonism
to
help push through those seemingly impenetrable barriers
to
break down those walls and borders
we
created to keep our selves safe from the onslaughts
and
rigors of so many conflicting forces
which
can eventually erode our hopes and dreams
and any
attempt of reaching further
are
buttressed by hostile tensions
that
make un~perceivable
any
smooth transition into unity
But
when the turbulence is so strong
We
don’t know if we can even overcome
the
stirred up antipathy
...still, we
allow ourselves to go
as
deep as we can without drowning
this
is a test of true patience, trust
and surrender to inevitability
Together
we create the substrate for all life
Unequivocally
released to create
a confluence of deep affinity
An
undeniable, underlying compatibility
