OSCILLATION

I see your mercurial cycles

So full of life some nights

And then

For days on end

You just disappear on me

Leave me wondering

Where I stand

I stand alone

All for but a few tethered moments

Beguiled by your magnetism

Feeling  the tug of your emanations

Seducing me

The oscillation of emotions

Im powerless to stop

You rolled in like a mist over my mountain

creeping

through the sanctum of my secret desires

transient thoughts that travel on the breeze

where you intercept and freeze

them like snowflakes

...crystallized memories

falling

from the clouds to descend back on me

Like a wave licking my shores

your words roll into my ears

You enter me by stealth

filtering

through me

like sun caressing the cloud tops

...you are a ray of fleeting awareness

reaching

deeper and deeper into my being

So close

...almost too close

Penetrating

illuminating

my most furtive moments

you capture them

and give them back to me

I run my hands through the mist

to take hold of the phantasms within

Until I can taste them on my lips
