TOO LATE BABY

TOO LATE BABY

For her, it wasn’t through a lack of trying
But why was it that he couldn’t  get
past his own selfish projections
and see that her heart was crying
And being ingnored were her basic needs

Sleeping under the same roof
sharing explicit stories and pictures
calling her baby, And yet
he didn’t have a fucking clue
what was going on inside her head

All those missed signals
and opportunities
for she didn’t dare project her own
Onto him
Until one day
It was all gone in an instant
It was just too late

LIQUID DIAMONDS

LIQUID DIAMONDS

Vanquished by immense pressure
combined with your malevolent atmosphere
I fear for my very existence
plunging deeper and deeper into your deadly abyss
drowning in putrid rhetoric
designed to ice my soul to the core

I swim solitaire
through stench and storm
of which you could never withstand
hardened resolve the only thing protecting me
I feel the weight of ten thousand karmic debts
as crushing forces of defeat try to swallow me

But Jupiterian serendipity liberates my quintessence
delving me deeper and deeper into my own ecstasy
I rain down in torrents of prismatic vivacity
to merge with Zirconian Oceans beneath me

For the first time in a millennia I feel the warmth
Of your pulsating core
Searing me
Releasing me

I become
Liquid Diamond

Astrophysicists have speculated and calculated that the conditions on the two biggest planets of the solar system, Jupiter and Saturn)  are enough to produce stable oceans made from diamond.
They claim that powerful storms on the planets’ atmospheres cause particles of carbon to form, which then drift down though the gas. As the carbon falls, it is crushed by the enormous pressures that exist on the two planets, causing them to form dense chunks of diamond.
At even greater depths, the scientists say the diamond will eventually melt to form liquid diamond, which may then form a stable ocean layer.

OBSERVANCE OF MOMENTS

OBSERVANCE OF MOMENTS

Does the Sun get asked
“where are you going?”
as it slowly sinks beneath
the twilight tangent arc
when it has exhausted its natural course?

For there is no need
If you are tuned into its cycles

Ive been in tune with your Rhythm
For the longest time now
And I have learnt that
To complain about shorter days
Is completely useless for me

Id rather spend time observing quietly
in an anticipated aware awe
unwilling to let anything spoil sacred opportunities
Lest a moment be lost to oblivion
because I know that you are worth waiting for
if not for only those few minutes of every day
where the amazing tapestry of your colours
are visible and come alive
to dance across the sky

But even better
Is the reassuring anticipation
Of your return.
