AURULENT
VISION
We needed to go our separate ways for a while
On a quest to find true meaning
In what we perceived as seemingly flawed
circumstances...
Fleeting hopes and dreams obscured by
clouded vision
Seeking clarification, whilst searching
longingly in your eyes
Feeling my way in the darkness, I look
up at the skies
It is with the dawning of a new day that
the sun imparts a glimmer
An aurulent rose is on the verge of
blooming
Parting clouds, Parting petals, Parting
lips
Caressing warmth blushing her crimson tips,
Whispers on the precipice of your tongue
An incantation, a declaration I needed
to hear
The tempest gradually subsides, and all
is revealed
We are both looking toward the same
beacon in the sky tapestry
No distance can separate us from our
Divine Decree
Luminous visions now blaze our path
And I am reminded,
that dark times are but transient
ruminations
As the new day reveals it’s undying
promise to us
The message forever etched in our
illuminated heart...
A little bit of your sun is better than
none at all
It’s all I need,
For even when I can’t see you
I now know that you are always with me

DeleteWhen we realize we are stronger as a part of something. I'm proud to be part of something, and can relate to what I'm inetrpreting here. So good, T!
ReplyDeleteThank you Gregory.
DeleteI left this to be read in a way that is personal to whoever reads it.
We all have a decree of sorts, some of us will go it alone, but many of us
will find others along the way to travel with.
There is something that is Greater than all of us, and I believe that we just need to
figure out what that is for us, and believe me, it can be utterly earth shattering
and humbling when we accept our callings in life...no matter how unworthy or unideal we feel for the task.
THANK YOU for reading and considering this write Gregory. :)
