SPEED OF DARKNESS

Speed of Darkness

Trying to outrun gravity

In order to find some levity

The light begins to lag

A mere 4 billion years behind me

Unable to reach my destination

Due to so much procrastination

A black hole

Engulfs my soul

I spiral out of control

COMPLETELY

You fused with my soul for a split second

becoming completely immersed in me

I tasted your being
and felt you in your entirety
In that moment

I felt like I had entered into

eternity

You imparted

the love of every lifetime
inside of me

Your fragrance now lingers inside my heart.

SOULMOON

Life’s recipe,

imbued with sacred secrets

Carried out with a ritual

that combine ingredients

with precise timing

A final touch…

I go outside at midnight

to pick a sprig

of full moon infused Rosemary

from my over grown bush

so that it may impart the wisdom of the universe

into my dish

But the moon was in the wrong place

and a giant moth flew straight into the light

scattering dust into my eyes

My mood now erupting with

misaligned
mercurial

malevolence

Gone in an instant was my peaceful existence

I had to find a way to eclipse this dissonance.

and no longer feel beset

by conflicting synchronicities

And so, with some quiet meditation,
and a loving incantation from your lips

I reached levitation

which was my true path back

to inner peace and resolution.

DEVOTION

Merge of equals

Lifetime to lifetime

The sequel

Of a love

unequalled

You alone are mine

And still

I find myself in this predicament

Full of Self flagellating emotions

Knowing that our union is imminent

Yet...In my situation I find myself frozen

Words I speak get lost in dissonance

Never in my life would I have chosen

To live a life of imprisonment

I need to find a way to inner resonance

A place where your heart and mine

Beat in unison.

I already know that our destiny is woven

Because many lifetimes ago we made a covenant

I have to trust that I will find enlightenment

Because we can never break from a love so omnipotent

And so to you I swear my eternal Devotion.

The closer I move towards you the further you move away
